- In Microsoft Outlook Express click on Tools then select Message Rules and then Mail.
- Select New from the buttons on the right. In section one of the new rule dialog box select Where subject contains specific words.
- In option two select Delete it.
- In option three click on contains specific words and this will open a new dialog box.
- In the first text box type the word SPAM and click Add.
- Click OK.
- In the last text box labeled Name of the rule type in SPAM
- Click OK
All of the messages you now get with the SPAM label will be automatically moved to your Deleted Items folder in Outlook Express where you may review them or delete them. If you wish to have them deleted automatically from Outlook Express entirely read our tutorial on Message Maintenance.
